Project Management
Successfully implementing a meeting communication and collaboration solution requires careful planning and execution. Whether customers are upgrading existing systems or planning new installations, the details involved in the project can often be overwhelming.For this reason ServicePoint offers their Project Management service to customers who select the full menu of implementation consulting services. The ServicePoint Project Management service provides complete coordination for implementation activities.
Through our Project Management, ServicePoint assumes total responsibility for a full range of tasks including:
- The creation of a detailed project plan
- Managing and tracking day to day project milestones
- Providing scheduled project status reporting.
ServicePoint Project Management provides customers with a single point of contact for the life of the implementation project – the ServicePoint Project Manager. Our Project Managers bring significant, relevant experience in project planning and related technologies to ensure consistent, high quality results. The customer can be certain the project is managed efficiently and cost effectively.
Product and Service Sourcing
Product sourcing is an optional service offered to ServicePoint customers, where the customer engages ServicePoint to project manage all phases of the implementation process.Product sourcing converts the business case recommendations into technology and service specifications as a precursor to the purchase process. This may require preparation of a Request for Proposal.
Equipment Finance
ServicePoint can offer a range of options to finance products that can be tailored to budgetary requirements of the customer – covering operating and finance leases for new; and sale/leaseback arrangements on existing videoconferencing systems.Meeting Room Design
ServicePoint offers customers a full range of meeting room design services as part of our consultation and implementation service:- Conceptual design – a conceptual blueprint and configuration map
- Detailed design – detailed bill of materials and installation blueprints
- Equipment integration design
- VC Network design – systems and network integration blueprint
- Control integration design
Installation & Commissioning
ServicePoint offers its customers a full installation; testing and commissioning service to ensure voice conferencing, video conferencing, and audio visual solutions meet the standards specified in the design blueprints. Customers are provided with an installation checklist, jointly authorised by the customer’s on-site representative and our certified meeting communication and collaboration engineers as a comprehensive record of the system commissioning.Staff Training
ServicePoint recognises that user acceptance and full realisation of the benefits of videoconferencing is most likely where users are both confident and competent in equipment and network operations. ServicePoint offers a range of competency based training solutions for different levels in the organisation – available through different delivery options; on installation, and afterwards:- On-site introductory sessions upon system commissioning included in the installation & commission service

- Advanced training courses conducted remotely as a multipoint conference on a regular basis throughout the year, available on both a renewable subscription and on a course-by-course basis
